Skating Rink

Enjoy outdoor skating on the synthetic skating rink. This new advancement in technology allows you to glide outdoors on a regulation size skating rink!. Your admission ticket also includes skates, provided by Snow Park Niagara Falls.

Snow Park NIagara hosts the first outdoor regulation size Super Glide Skating rink in the world! Super Glide is a synthetic surface that allows your skates to glide!  For more information on the technology behind Super Glide, click here!

Please Note: Our rink is not an ice surface and therefore the experience on the rink will differ from that on a traditional ice surface.


Duration: Proper skate admission ticket or Combo ticket is needed for use of the skating rink.   We occasionally clear the rink in order to maintain the rink surface.

This is an Outdoor activity.  The skating rink is open rain or shine! The skating rink does not operate in extreme storm conditions (thunder & lightning) or in extreme rainfall.

Children under the age of 3 are not permitted on the skating rink.

Helmets are available upon request at the Skate counter free of charge.

Skating Rink Rules:

  • Socks are Required
  • Guests may use the skates provided by Snow Park Niagara (included in admission) or may bring and use their own HOCKEY skates. Non-Snow Park Niagara Falls owned HOCKEY skates MUST be sharpened by the Rental Station Attendant before use on the skating rink. Skate sharpening is provided to Snow Park Niagara Falls guests at no cost.
  • The Rink Attendant must be obeyed at all times
  • Bags, backpacks or purses are not recommended on the rink. Snow Park Niagara Falls is not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen items.
  • No pushing or shoving
  • No food or beverages allowed inside the skating rink
  • No horseplay, racing or playing of tag
  • No carrying of young children while skating
  • No more than two skaters may join hands while skating
  • Proper current day admission ticket is required

Skate Rink Age Requirements:

  • Children 10 and under must be accompanied by person 16 or older
  • Children under 3 are not permitted on the skating rink
